NPS responded to an emergency call on Saturday, 01/01/2022. LA County Sanitation District suffered a major pipe collapse and spilled over 8 million gallons into nearby storm drains and subsequent flood control channels. NPS was contacted by WA Rasic, and was tasked with repairing the pipe. NPS has been working around the clock on this spill since Saturday.
